Week 6.5

Week 5.5



During Saturday's class meeting we went for another field trip down to Findlay Market.  This time, our mission was to interview members of the community about their thoughts on public artwork. We were curious about what different people thought about the art of Cincinnati, specifically art that was in and around Over-the-Rhine, and also what kinds of new art they might like to see.  Results will be posted shortly, thank you to all who showed up on Saturday.
It certainly was a fun and productive meeting!

Today in class we continued brainstorming possible public art projects.
This time we worked collaboratively, the results were quite fruitful!

This Saturday Art in the Market will meet again at Findlay Market at 12:00 PM - Noon in the center of the indoor market near the Taste of Belgium.  We will be engaging in some relational aesthetics, meeting and chatting with market goers and interviewing people to get their thoughts on public artwork.
